Animal-Human Hybrids Myth?

Animal-Human Hybrid myth or reality? Many of us know or heard of human and animal cloning but what of a hybrid? Well the reality is it has actually happened on numerous occasions. One of the first accounts of this was in 2003 at Shanghai Second Medical University. They successfully made a human-animal embryo out of fused human cells with rabbits. They were destroyed after harvesting their stem cells which being the main reason for this research has caused much debate towards it’s ethical nature. The argument on the scientists part is the more human like the animal the more tests can relate to humans, which can lead to new discoveries to help human health as a whole. I personally have always loved sci-fi books and movies so this is very facinating. I am a bit afraid of the future implications of allowing such a creature to survive beyond the mere harvesting of cells and tests. I am also conflicted as to the killing or testing on any living thing. Whether or not the creature resulted under synthetic and unatural circumstances it’s still a living thing. Will there one day be Human-Hybrid rights associations to protect these living things? HMMM……are there any among us? I always thought one of my college professors to be a bit of an ass (donkey). Just my 2 pesos.

In honesty I’m kind of excited! Of course, it is terrifying in one aspect, but to fathom what we can do! It really is incredible. When I was growing up, a video convorsation was the future to me and seemed impossible yet now it’s an everyday thing. I believe that this is quite amazing, even though it is a very controversial issue. We can benefit from it medically, (even though we don’t need to live any longer as earth has reached it’s population capaity and reproduction has never been lower!)But even still, we continue to push our limits as beings. It is a very very controversial issue I understand, but no one should say it is wrong for the sake of just being ‘wrong,’ or for having a sick feeling in thier belly about it. So is my little piece on it! =)
okay so……im not religious or anything but why…..why fuck with earth creatures, yeah we are the superior species but we shouldnt be doing this its a life were taking….imagine, every unsuccesful experiment is a lost soul, a dead being it doesnt matter what it is, we all have rights, even animals.
